When Immigrant Visas Are Returned to the Department of Homeland Security

When you have had an immigrant visa petition approved by the Department of Homeland Security, but were denied the visa at the consulate interview, it can be frustrating.

It doesn’t make sense that one agency found you eligible for an immigrant visa, while the other did not. Especially when you need the approval of both.
